Talk:Chapter 8: 77-86
Revision as of 10:52, 13 November 2012 by Mattmacleod (Talk | contribs)
I removed this sentence from the discussion on running amok because I could not find this sentence in the Wikipedia article:
- The contrast between what was seen as the normal placid character of Malays and a sudden outburst of frenzied violence played to Western perceptions of the 'irrational' East.
If I overlooked this text in the Wikipedia article, or if this sentence was added in as further commentary, then please add it back. -- Gideon 12:16, 7 August 2007 (PDT)
